ATU 689 - Documentary

The Amalgamated Transit Union is the largest international union servicing bus operators and support teams across the United States and Canada.

Goal #1

Produce high video content before and during their 61st International Convention in New York City - 2025

1-6 months

Produced a video retrospective of the successes made by the ATU in the time since the last convention 3 years ago.

Process

Collected all of their in-house video for the past three years, outlined, storyboarded and scripted for a 10 minute video that would engage members on the convention floor on the first day of proceedings.

Challenges

The video would displayed on a giant LED screen that was custom build to be 15 feet tall by 145 feet wide. - “Every frame was like a puzzle” according to our lead editor Claire Klienman.

Results

We worked closely with the convention AV team to ensure standards and specs were met. The ATU communications team and IP John Costa were impressed.

Goal #2

Daily Wrap at the convention

4 days

We staffed all the MainStage events with camera operators and editors to do “fast turn” wrap-up videos that were shown first thing the following morning.

Results

Four 5-8 minute highly produced videos that highlights grand thoughts from convention presenters and well as showcasing the incredible investment in the convention itself.
